Lothian Team Tournament

Watsonians have done well over the years in the Lothian Team tournament, although it took a while. It was not until 1936 that they first challenged for the event finishing second.

In latter years, the non-course owning clubs such as Watsonians had to pre-qualifying for the main event and competed for the Walker Trophy which we have won on several occassions:

2008 Winners

Richard Craig, Andrew Hogg, Richard Johnston and Greg Nicolson win over Gullane 1 and Castle Park

1999 Winners

Richard Craig, Andrew Helm supported Martin Hopley's course record 64 at Linlithgow to lift the trophy by 1 shot. (See picture right)
