About Us

The Watsonian Golf Club was founded in 1887 and is open to former pupils of George Watson's College, staff at GWC and parents of children at GWC and provides a social and competitive golf club for golfers of all ages and abilities.

As well as an active section based around Edinburgh, there are also Watsonian Golf Clubs located in the Borders, London, Lancashire and the Midlands. See the Contact Page for details of your local club

There are a wide range of matches, outings and tournaments throughout the year which you can see in the Diary.  Matches are usually against other clubs, but there is also a match against the School Staff; a match against the School and a triangular match between the Edinburgh, London and Lancashire sections

Membership is great value at £30 - so if you would like to meet fellow golfers and play social or competitive golf over some great courses, please contact the Secretary.
